“Creation has always felt like an extension of myself. I do not simply possess a desire to make art, I have an innate need to express my soul through art. I draw inspiration from emotion, dreams, poetry, movement and nature. Particularly influenced by the way sunset clouds change from gold to pink and the way the refraction of sunlight creates rainbows. I find beauty in the smallest details of a flower and I translate my emotions through a lens, a paintbrush or a pen.

Endlessly inspired by being in the garden with her little ones, flowers, plants, growth, sorrow, grief & joy are often themes in her work. Colours & words are carefully woven together whether it’s on walls, windows, pots, canvases, prints or clay.
Jess is always keen to pursue opportunities that make art accessible in sometimes unexpected places & hopes to warm hearts & remind people they are allowed to take up space.

This is the world of a quirky, emerging artist, based in the relaxed, small city of Adelaide, South Australia, who loves English almost as much as she is enamoured with photography, and art in general.
